Future of a franchise – Hart is bringing excitement and energy back to Philadelphia

Merriam and Webster define the word phenom as “a person of phenomenal ability or promise.” Ask Philadelphia Flyers fans to define that same word and they will provide a different definition. To them, the word phenom is associated with a name, and that name is Carter Hart.

The Flyers have been in desperate need of an elite-caliber netminder since the Ron Hextall years. Every time the franchise appears to be trending in the right direction, they are plagued by inconsistent goaltending. They are hopeful that that narrative will change with Carter Hart.
