U.S Ad Sales & Monetization Manager – Eliteprospects.com


ESMG North America is the U.S. affiliate of Everysport Media Group, a global sports publisher and media technologies company based in Stockholm, Sweden. We operate a wide portfolio of popular sports websites along with delivering customized solutions for sports content, media technology and statistics to numerous partners in media, gaming and professional sports. 

Eliteprospects.com is one of the most popular hockey websites in Europe and North America. With more than 640,000 players in our database and over 3 million online visitors per month, we are a leading resource for hockey statistics and player/team/league information. Through EP Premium and EP Rinkside, we also serve top-notch content, enhanced statistics and customized features to thousands of paying subscribers every day.

As we wish to further strengthen our position in North America, we are looking for a U.S. based Ad Sales & Monetization Manager to help improve sales of direct ad campaigns, sponsorships and native/editorial promotion, as well as optimize KPI’s for our programmatic ad sales and affiliate revenue streams.

The Job

– Daily sales of direct ads and marketing activities directed towards potential media buyers: agencies, major brands and hockey industry advertisers

– Optimization of ad formats and revenue from programmatic ad sales and ad networks/partners

– Sales of sponsorships and native/content/social media campaigns and partnerships

– Identify revenue opportunities and launch affiliate partnerships with online vendors/brands within ticket sales, e-trade, fantasy/gaming, hockey equipment/apparel, digital services or network/streaming services

– Establish B2B CRM for U.S./CAN


The Profile

– Minimum three years of successful work experience from online ad sales

– Proven sales record from a publisher or ad sales network

– Experience from programmatic ad sales and ad-ops technology solutions

– Strong passion for hockey!

We offer a fun and exciting position with lots of potential for growth in a positive, entrepreneurial company culture. Ideally, you are willing to be based in our Tampa office. You can expect monthly travel to visit clients and potential partners across the continent.

As our Ad Sales Manager, you will be an early addition to a growing North American staff and will have no hierarchies to worry about as you report directly to our U.S. CEO. Your passion for hockey is important (it’s the core DNA of EliteProspects!) but a proven track record within digital sales and a drive to create revenue and strengthen our commercial brand is what will ultimately generate success.
