EP Rinkside Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 5 Ranked Philadelphia Flyers

The Philadelphia Flyers have a deep prospect pool. It just might be the fifth-deepest pool in the entire NHL — it’s the fifth-best in general, according to us.

There are a lot of people responsible for it, and now the new regime under Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher has added to it without subtracting any of its substantive talents. They will have a nice group marinating in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms for the 2019-2020 season.

1. Joel Farabee, LW, Boston Univ.

Joel Farabee, as a freshman, had 13 goals and 31 points in 32 games thanks to a strong second half of last season. He performed well when the spotlight was brightest, and he was always in the right position for his well-above-average wrist shot or to deal it to a teammate for a scoring position.
