COHEN: Brothers Jesper and Adam Boqvist are Ready to Take the NHL by Storm
Brother combinations aren’t rare in the NHL. We’ve seen plenty of them. Quinn and Jack Hughes are a recent example. Then there’s the Staals, Sedins, etc. before them.
In 2017, the New Jersey Devils drafted Jesper Boqvist 36th overall in the second round. A year later, the Chicago Blackhawks drafted his brother, Adam Boqvist, eight overall. It was only going to be a matter of time until the two reunited in the NHL.
Well, this should be the year, and the two could be making their NHL debuts at the same time.
“That would be a dream come true,” Jesper told EP Rinkside. “We’ve been dreaming about it since we were kids. It’s going to be fun.”
