Scouting Report: U18 5 Nations Wrap-Up, Part 1: USA, Czechia, & Switzerland
SUNDSVALL, Sweden — The annual under-18 5 Nations tournament took place in Sundsvall, Sweden this past week, and EliteProspects Rinkside was in attendance. It’s the first U18 tournament after the season’s started, and the first tournament of its kind since the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup in August.
While most teams missed their top prospects — many of them played in the under-20 4 Nations tournament in Finland — there was no shortage of highly talented prospects for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft playing on Gärdehov’s surface.
The Czech Republic, Finland, the USA, Sweden and Switzerland account for the 5 Nations in this tournament.
