Scouting Report: Days 1 & 2 Wrap-Up From World Junior A Challenge
Scouts and junior hockey enthusiasts from across the globe have descended upon the picturesque small town of Dawson Creek, British Columbia for the World Junior A Challenge.
It’s a tournament that pits the best Junior A hockey players from the United States, Canada, Czechia, and Russia for 11 days in a round-robin format followed by one-game elimination before the medal matches.
EliteProspects is on the scene, with Rinkside’s Director of North American Scouting, Mitch Brown, joining me for the tournament to scout each game, stock material for our draft guide, and interview the players that figure to cross the NHL Draft’s stage next June in Montréal.
