Meet the Team: Finland’s World Junior Hockey Championships Roster

Defending champions from last year, Finland comes to the tournament with a slightly weaker roster compared to previous years. Particularly the forward group doesn’t include as many high-end players as it did last year, especially if a top 2020 eligible prospect Anton Lundell is out with an injury (the most recent update is that he’s recovering faster than expected, so there’s still a chance).

The defence corps is solid, though, featuring players who have prominent roles in their respective teams. Another thing going for Finland is their goaltending with Justus Annunen as one of the better starters in the tournament.
