Scouting Report: Standout Draft-Eligible Prospects at the World Junior Hockey Championship

Take a moment to reflect on your life. If you’re voting-aged adult, you’ve seen some things, met some people, likely suffered through heartbreak. Successes. Failures. The whole lot. Now, flashback to when you were a senior in high school. A 17-year-old kid with the entire world waiting for you to run roughshod over it. You were likely a little brash. A little naive. Young.

Fast forward two years. If you’re Canadian (or any non-American country really) you’re going to the pub — without a fake ID now too, and enjoying some pops. Maybe you’ve just finished your sophomore year of University or trade school. You’ve grown physically, mentally, emotionally. You’ve seen more. You’ve learned more. You’re a different person.

It may just be two years, but the growth is as vast as a mountain range.
