The last time we put out a draft ranking, back in mid-April, an article followed that offered a peek behind the curtains. It was so well-received by everyone involved that I’ve decided to make it a staple of our draft coverage.

The format is simple. We publish a draft ranking, reach out to industry sources, be they scouts or front office executives, and share whichever pieces of analysis or feedback they feel comfortable exposing to the public sphere.

We’re comfortable with our work; we’re confident in our analysis. Opening it up to scrutiny from those nearest the levers of power seems a natural part of the growing process as evaluators. It’s also another layer of transparency for our audience.
