Some Team is Going to Take Ridly Greig in the First-Round, but Should They?

It’s tough to imagine a scenario where Brandon Wheat Kings centre Ridly Greig isn’t a first-round pick. Yet, Greig doesn’t appear anywhere in EliteProspects’ top-62. In fact, he doesn’t show up until No. 84 overall.

Despite our skepticism, there’s no shortage of reasons why many NHL teams feel differently. Greig tooks the reins as Brandon’s No. 1 centre, leading the team in points per game with 1.07 while making life miserable for the opposition.
