Scouting Report: Standout Affiliated Prospects at the World Junior Hockey Championship
That was fun. Nearly two weeks of hockey, 31 games, and a whole lot of blood, sweat, and tears later, Canada emerged with their second gold medal in three years after a 4-3 victory over the Russians to cap off the 2020 World Junior Hockey Championships.
I couldn’t make the pilgrimage to Ostrava, Czechia for the tournament, but I watched every game, collected notes, and clipped tape all the same. Now that I’ve had a chance to refine that information and go to the lab working on film, all that’s left is to share my observations on the NHL affiliated prospects who stood out for better or worse through the tournament.
