Scout’s Roundtable: EliteProspects’ Favourite Picks From the 2020 NHL Draft
No two draft picks are created equal. That’s as apparent in the immediate aftermath of any draft as it is five-plus years down the road, even if the true yield of each pick is yet to reveal itself in full.
It’s with that maxim in mind that I asked the EliteProspects scouts which picks landed as favourites and not-so-favourites at the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
We’re going to start that process with today’s article, a look at some of the best picks from last week.
The fate of these selections is far from certain, but we can make educated guesses. They form the basis on which almost all draft and prospects analysis rests.
