Thomas Bordeleau’s Hockey Sense, Awareness Makes him a Legitimate First-Round Prospect

If you’re familiar with EliteProspects’ draft coverage, then you’re well aware at this point of my affinity for Thomas Bordeleau, the No. 23-ranked prospect in our 2020 NHL Draft Guide. The next highest spot for Bordeleau in our ‘Draft Center‘ is 36th.

While I doubtless led the charge by banging the table with the fury and frequency of the mallet in a Whack-a-Mole game, it’s not like I was on an island. Many of my colleagues found themselves similarly intrigued by Bordeleau’s package of skills and smarts.

I sat down with Bordeleau to discuss his path to the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, and how he developed into one of the most skilled draft-eligible USHL skaters in the process.
