The Finnish first line of Roni Hirvonen, Anton Lundell, and Kasper Simontaival is the World Junior's best
This year's World Juniors have produced some of the highest-scoring games in recent memory, with Canada putting up ten goals or more in two of their three contests, and USA’s Trevor Zegras leading the tournament in scoring with ten points in three outings.
Even so, the best line of the tournament thus far has been Finland’s top unit featuring Anton Lundell, Roni Hirvonen and Kasper Simontaival.
“They are good players for sure. They’re all skillful players," Finland’s head coach Antti Pennanen told EliteProspects after the win over Slovakia.
The trio has combined for 15 points during the first three games, and that total could be even greater with a bit more finishing luck.
