The top of the 2020 NHL Draft leaderboard is where Lafrenière started his season, and he’s done nothing to disabuse himself of that position. He’s consolidated his hold on that precious No. 1 billing if anything.
The Oceanic winger’s 1.15 points per game earned him the lead across each of the three leagues that make up the CHL, and his 112 points total a first-place finish in the QMJHL.
