A player-by-player look at how Canada performed at the 2021 World Juniors

The end result may not have been there, but the Canadians put in an admirable performance at the 2021 World Juniors all the same. There were gaudy point totals, big goals, impressive adjustments and… a silver medal.

In keeping with a theme at EP Rinkside, today we’ll dive into each player and give a quick synopsis of their performance at the marquee junior tournament on the planet.

Goaltenders  

Devon Levi, Florida Panthers   

Levi authored a tremendous story at this event. The sixth-final selection in the 2020 draft was not invited to the Summer Camp, had yet to play a game in the 2020-21 season, and somehow ascended to the Canadian crease as their undisputed starter for the tournament.
