It took two years and several NHL stints, but Jordan Kyrou finally looks like the top-six forward his sublime playmaking, speed, and statistical profile suggested he could become.
A few years ago, he was a can't-miss prospect. After a 109-point OHL season and scorching the World Juniors, he opened the 2018-2019 season in the NHL. His debut, while pointless, was memorable – he looked like he'd make the transition immediately.
Not so fast.
