What we Learned: So what do we think of the Boston Bruins?
The Boston Bruins had a lot of questions to answer coming into this season.
Could they survive without Torey Krug and Zdeno Chára? Could they weather the early part of the schedule without Brad Marchand and David Pastrňák? What was going to happen with Tuukka Rask? Would effectively moving them into what would have previously been called the Metropolitan Division help or hurt?
Early on, things seemed to be going well. They roared out of the gate, ending the first month of the season 10-2-2 with strong underlyings (fourth in the league in all-situations xGF%, for example) and answered every question one might have levied in the off-season in the affirmative.
