Seth Jarvis' AHL time cements status as top prospect

With the OHL and WHL on hold, many drafted prospects had a unique opportunity to play in the AHL in the immediate aftermath of their draft.

None shone brighter in that opportunity than Carolina's Seth Jarvis. When the No. 13-overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft left after nine games, his seven goals led the AHL. He added four assists and likely earned a couple more.

Pre-draft, Jarvis’ game wasn’t an easy one to poke holes in. He was, without a doubt, a top-15 talent in one of the most talented drafts in recent memory. Regardless of which team drafted him, chances were that he'd instantly become their best prospect. His pace overwhelmed, his dual-threat skill threat shredded teams, and his motor never quit.
