Around The AHL: Sweet times in Hershey

A brief stumble for the Hershey Bears this past weekend aside, there is a lot to please even a demanding head coach like Spencer Carbery.

A 4-1 home loss to the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms dropped Hershey’s record to 7-3-2, but their .667 point percentage going into league play Tuesday put the Bears into a fifth-place tie in the AHL with the Texas Stars. Hershey could build on that record further this weekend with a home-and-home set against the Binghamton Devils, a team they have gone 4-0-0- against this season.
