Well, the Sabres made their inevitable move, relieving Ralph Krueger of his position as the team's head coach following another ugly loss that stretched their winless skid to 12 games.
As the team closes in on the cap-era record of 14 (a four-way tie between some really awful teams, including the 2014-15 Buffalo Sabres), and will run its NHL-record streak of postseason-free springs to 10 straight years, an obvious question emerges.
You may say, “What’s the point?” And I would say, “Well, okay, two obvious questions: That, and ‘where do they go from here?’”
