Three clubs – the Charlotte Checkers, Milwaukee Admirals, and Springfield Thunderbirds – are out for this season. Day-of-game round-trip travel, even for cities separated by three or four hours of highway, is in. So is extensive COVID-19 testing. Team-bonding social events are a no-go. Zoom video sessions are in.
