Why the Toronto Maple Leafs identified Nick Foligno as their prized deadline acquisition

The Toronto Maple Leafs shocked the hockey world by acquiring Nick Foligno and Stefan Noesen for a first-round pick and a pair of fourths on the Sunday before the April 12th deadline.
