Here's the thing about American defenseman, Jack Peart: He's not the biggest or fastest defender. He doesn't boast a high-end pre-draft resume. He hasn't even been considered a 'consensus' first-round pick amongst a draft class that has been rightly considered something of a down year. 

And yet, as we prepare for the NHL Draft that is just days away, his promising upside has scouts and teams highly intrigued.

And so we shall peel back the curtain and take stock of the USHL defender's game in this edition of Film Room.
