Draft Reflections: The high-level expressions of Adam Fox's hockey sense

It's probably inaccurate to consider Adam Fox a draft steal. He likely slid down NHL lists in 2016 due to his decision to extend his college stay. 

Prospects can leave for the destination of their choices after four years of NCAA hockey and It's exactly what happened with Fox. While the Calgary Flames did select a Norris Trophy winner in the third round of the 2016 draft, the team never ended up benefiting from his talent besides what value they could recoup by dealing him to the Carolina Hurricanes. 

At the completion of his senior season, the future star shot toward New York City.
