EP Rinkside 2021-22 Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 11-ranked New Jersey Devils

While the New Jersey Devils just barely missed out on another top-10 appearance in the EP Rinkside annual prospect pool rankings, it doesn't necessarily represent a degradation in the strength of their system. With three high-end options headlining this list, a vast middle tier of forwards, defenders, and goaltenders make up the core of this ranking.

With the big club is clearly set up down the middle, boasting Nico Hischier and Jack Hughes in the top-two centre positions, a lack of centre depth isn't too much of a pressing concern for the future of this franchise. Additionally, there should be enough complementary pieces that will be able to damage with those gifted pivots as well as insulate the bottom half of their lineup.
