EP Rinkside 2021-22 Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 5-ranked New York Rangers

The New York Rangers were the No. 2-ranked prospect pool last fall.

In the year since, they graduated Alexis Lafrenière and Igor Shestyorkin, the two best prospects at their respective positions. K'Andre Miller, one of the best defensive prospects, reached the NHL, too. And their 2021 Draft class was lukewarm, at best.

Still, they kick off the top-5, and it wasn’t really in consideration that they’d be any lower. Most of their notable prospects took a substantial step forward in their development.

It’s an exciting time to be a Rangers fan.
