Fantasy Hockey Draft Preparations: A peek behind the curtains

Fantasy hockey draft season is officially upon us. With regular season games kicking off on Tuesday, there are precious few moments remaining to nab the players that will launch your team to glory in 2021-22. This is why I present to you a glimpse into the preparations I'm making ahead of my drafts.
On Saturday morning, Chris Meaney of FTN and I sat down with colleague Dimitri Filipovich to talk all things fantasy. We were looking at breakout candidates, players we're excited about, guys with red flags, value nods, and situations to watch. I rarely prepare for podcasts these days but I wanted to put some virtual words on the page to be sure to provide the listeners with as many juicy nuggets as possible.
And of course, I went way overboard.
What you'll see below are the notes I created for that pod and a few more for how I prepared for my own drafts. I've cleaned them up a bit for readability sake, but it's pretty close to how I prep. It's a look behind the curtain at how the Lord of Fantasy Hockey at EP Rinkside gets down during the draft season. I hope you enjoy it!
