Film Room: Lucas Raymond's complete game has made the NHL transition look easy

In these prospects reports, I usually pride myself in writing about a mix of positive and negative points. I do my best to describe what makes a player effective and what he has to improve, but after spending the past few days reviewing, analyzing, and dissecting Detroit Red Wings' rookie Lucas Raymond's first NHL games, the weaknesses haven't appeared.

I can't find anything noteworthy, besides the elements that many prospects improve naturally over the years, as they mature physically and mentally, as they gain experience of the game, internalize its patterns, and train in the off-season, things like getting stronger, increasing defensive awareness, learning the timing of certain plays.

There is no other way to put it:

Lucas Raymond is good at everything.
