Elite Prospects announces the Elite Prospects Hockey League, set to begin in 2022

Hockey fans have come to know Elite Prospects as the premier destination for hockey stats and information for nearly three decades, visiting our platform by the thousands, and subscribing in droves to our Premium service in recent years.

Today, we're proud to announce that we're giving back to the hockey community with the formation of the Elite Prospects Hockey League.

The Elite Prospects Hockey League (or EPHL for short) is a high-level, regular season tournament set for puck drop in the fall of 2022.

"We want to create a unique tournament concept where AAA youth players get to experience the attention and spotlight more commonly associated with Professional or Major Junior hockey," ESMG North America and Elite Prospects president Peter Sibner told EP Rinkside.

"With the launch of EPHL, Elite Prospects looks to establish a concept of high-level competition for AAA youth teams across the United States."

The official dates and locations haven't yet been determined, but updates will be provided as soon as new information is made available to us.

Participants in the Elite Prospects Hockey League will benefit from professional coverage, with a wide array of exposure through our editorial outlets, social media channels, and multimedia properties. Our team of writers and analysts will follow the tournament every step of the way, shining a spotlight on the participants for all the hockey world to see.

"This series of tournaments will allow aspiring youth programs to play top competition while gaining unprecedented exposure and live coverage through the Elite Prospects platform and our social media channels," Sibner told EP Rinkside. "By activating our strong online presence to cover our own hockey league, as well as partnering with vendors and partners from the top tiers of the hockey world, Elite Prospects hope to turn the EPHL into a highly attractive and desirable event for AAA teams for years to come."

The Elite Prospects Hockey League is now accepting applications for AAA hockey programs in the 14U, 15U, 16U and 18U divisions only. You can submit an application by following this link.

All applications must be submitted prior to Wednesday, December 22, 2021, and teams must be U.S.-based AAA-level programs. To ensure fair competition, teams will be asked to provide links to their recent national rankings for each age level.
