Meet the Team: An early look at what Finland might look like at the 2022 World Juniors

Team Finland is looking to improve their third-place finish from last year.

The roster is arguably quite a bit stronger up front compared to last year's iteration with many notable returnees. The defence, however, has taken big hits with Ville Heinola, Santeri Hatakka and Mikko Kokkonen all graduating, and a lot will be asked from the reigning best defenceman of the tournament Topi Niemelä.

In net, Finland has two good options for the starting position and the pre-tournament and the group stage games will likely play a big part in determining who gets to start in the deciding matches.
