Former Orlando Solar Bears player set to play for Syracuse Crunch

Amir Miftakhov, 21, of the Orlando Solar Bears, will now play for the Syracuse Crunch, according to the team's Twitter account.

Miftakhov is 6'0" and weighs 183 lbs. He played on the youth team for Ak Bars Kazan.

Last season in ECHL and AHL, the goaltender had a save percentage of .912 over 14 games with the Orlando Solar Bears and the Syracuse Crunch.

The Syracuse Crunch have added Owen Headrick, Adam Dekker, and Pierre-Cédric Labrie, among others in the past month.
