Cross-scouting is important in our process at Elite Prospects. Our evaluators not only watch players from their own region but also other ones around the globe. The time spent watching other leagues allows our team to debate players and see-through inevitable biases. It also gives us a more accurate portrait of the draft class,

In the past month, with the QMJHL on a COVID-19 break, I decided to take a video tour of Sweden, focusing specifically on the three top forwards of Djurgårdens' under-20 squad: Noah Östlund, Liam Öhgren and Jonathan Lekkerimäki.

These players, while all vastly different in terms of playstyle and strengths, could all potentially go inside the top-45 at the draft in July.
