Profiling the top targets at the 2021-22 NHL trade deadline

The trade deadline is less than a month away, but the only major transaction we've seen in the past few months has been the deal that sent Tyler Toffoli to from the Montreal Canadiens to the Calgary Flames. That leaves a lot of very eligible targets, like rentals and players with term, for playoff teams to acquire before March 21.

EP Rinkside will be analyzing many of these players in great depth before the postseason rosters are set, but with 20 days to go, we're providing a quick overview of some of the most interesting names to watch in the next few weeks. I'll be assessing twelve players here based on three factors: how likely a trade is, the return that the trading team can expect to receive and how good the player in question actually is.
