Scout's Notebook: How Raphaël Lavoie and Philip Broberg could help the Oilers in the future
In this edition of the scout's notebook, we review the performance of two important pieces of the Edmonton Oilers' prospect pool, Philip Broberg and Raphaël Lavoie.
These two players could play key roles in future Oilers' lineups if they continue to develop. They could provide the organization with the size and the skill it needs on the back-end and at forward to continue competing with some of the top formations in their divisions.
At the moment, both Broberg and Lavoie are playing their first full season with the Bakersfield Condors in the AHL. They haven't shared the same success, however. While Broberg has continued to add to his game in the past year and been rewarded with NHL time because of it, Lavoie seems further in his path to a role in the top league.
