Fantasy Focus: Mining the waiver wire on April 25

Well, folks, this is it: The final installment of "mining the waiver wire" for the 2021-22 season. We’ve been through a lot together. Some good pickups. Some great pickups. Some terrible pick-ups. That’s just the way it goes when you’re trying to catch lightning in a bottle with the waiver wire.

The key to this game is volume. You don’t take one swing a year and hope to send it to the second deck. You take cuts every week and by the time the season wraps up, you’ve likely found a fistful of players who helped you out and a few others that were so good they’ve played their way into your keeper plans.

Most of you are already into offseason mode, but there are still a few leagues remaining that will be playing out the stretch of regular-season games and need these last few points to bring that championship home.

With that in mind, we’ll check out a few more targets to grab and stab this week. A reminder that these are (mostly) players who are owned in fewer than half of Fantrax leagues.
