Former TPS player set to play in the United States

According to nhl.com, Mikael Pyyhtiä, 20, of the TPS, is changing teams and will now play for the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Pyyhtiä is 6'0" and weighs 174 lbs. He first played for TPS.

He spent last season with the TPS, scoring 22 goals and 36 points in 79 games as a left wing and center.

Columbus Blue Jackets has already signed Kirill Marchenko, Nick Blankenburg, and Kent Johnson, and now have zero players under contract for this season. The Columbus Blue Jackets have added Kirill Marchenko, Nick Blankenburg, and Kent Johnson in the past month.
