It seems like it’s been eons since NHL fans were able to watch a complete, uninterrupted regular season and seamlessly transition into playoff hockey. At long last, though, here we are. And already there have been plenty of storylines when it comes to the personnel in net. 

The playoff lead-up was fascinating enough to watch in its own right, with one conference all but locked in by the end of March and the other still battling it out for the final spots with mere days left in the regular season. Rosters are starting to feel the toll of the last two seasons, with everything from early retirements to the CBA-mandated salary cap freeze leaving some teams in roster turmoil and others poised to become massive powerhouses.
