Dramatic win for Lightning – series tied against Maple Leafs

The Tampa Bay Lightning won 4-3 (1-0, 1-3, 1-0, 1-0) at home against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL Åttondelsfinal in a game that went to overtime. The series is now tied at 3-3 and the next game will be the decider.

The game-winning goal was scored by Tampa Bay's Brayden Point.

In the third period, John Tavares scored his second goal in the 0th minute of the period, assisted by Jason Spezza and Ondrej Kase, giving the Maple Leafs 3-2 a lead.

In the third period, Nikita Kucherov scored 10 minutes into the period, assisted by Brayden Point and Steven Stamkos, to tie the game. With this goal, the score was tied and then, the game went to overtime.

Tampa Bay improves to 3–0–0, while Toronto drops to 3–0–0.

The teams play each other again for Game 7 on Saturday, May 14 at 7 p.m.
