Lightning beat Panthers in first game
The Tampa Bay Lightning lead the series 1-0 against the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup-kvartsfinal, after a 4-1 (0-1, 1-0, 3-0) win on road. In game one.
The Panthers took the lead late into the first period, with a goal scored by Anthony Duclair. Jonathan Huberdeau and Brandon Montour assisted.
Corey Perry scored late in the second period, assisted by Nikita Kucherov, to give the Lightning the lead.
The Lightning dominated the third period, with goals from Pierre-Édouard Bellemare, Nikita Kucherov and Ross Colton.
Florida is now 0–0–0, while Tampa Bay improves to 1–0–0.
The teams play each other again for Game 2 on Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m.
