Upper hand for Lightning after latest win

The Tampa Bay Lightning lead the series 3-0 against the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup-kvartsfinal, after a 5-1 (1-1, 2-0, 2-0) win at home, and only needs one more win to get to the semifinal.

The Lightning took the lead late in the first period, with a goal scored by Corey Perry. Ryan McDonagh and Nikita Kucherov assisted.

The Panthers tied it up late into the first period, after a Sam Reinhart's goal assisted by Jonathan Huberdeau and Barkov Aleksander.

The Lightning started the second period strong, with goals from Erik Cernak and Steven Stamkos.

The Lightning continued to be dominant in the third period and won 5-1 in the end. The goals in the final period were scored by Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos.

Tampa Bay improves to 3–0–0, while Florida drops to 0–0–0.

The teams play each other again for Game 4 on Monday, May 23 at 7 p.m.
