Avalanche up 2-0 after another win over Oilers

The Colorado Avalanche have the upper hand in the series against the Edmonton Oilers in the Stanley Cup semifinal, after winning 4-0 (0-0, 3-0, 1-0) at home. Colorado leads the series by 2-0 games.

The first period was scoreless.

The Avalanche dominated the second period, near the end of the second period with three quick goals from Artturi Lehkonen, Josh Manson and Mikko Rantanen.

The Avalanche also made it 4-0 when Nathan MacKinnon netted one, assisted by Cale Makar late into the third period. That left the final score at 4-0.

Colorado improves to 2–0–0, while Edmonton drops to 0–0–0.

The teams meet again for Game 3 on Saturday, June 4 at 8 p.m., this time in Edmonton.
