Lightning catching up to Rangers with win
The Tampa Bay Lightning won 3-2 (0-0, 1-2, 2-0) against the New York Rangers in the Stanley Cup semifinal. Tampa Bay has reduced the gap in the series that now stands at 2-1 in favour of New York.
The game-winning goal was scored by Tampa Bay's Ondrej Palat.
Tampa Bay improves to 1–0–0, while New York drops to 2–0–0.
The teams meet again for Game 4 on Tuesday, June 7 at 8 p.m., this time in Tampa Bay.
