I am writing this just hours before the start of the 2022 Stanley Cup Final and I’m basically wearing out the carpet pacing in excitement.

What’s not to like? Even if you’re a fan of the two teams that got eliminated in the Conference Finals, you have to acknowledge your team just wasn’t good enough. Be mad at the officiating, lineup decisions, whatever else, but c’mon: You know these were the two best teams left in the playoffs. Hell, both of your clubs got beat four games in a row last round. Tells you all you need to know, I’d think.
