Avalanche up 2-0 after another win over Lightning

The Colorado Avalanche have the upper hand in the series against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the NHL Final, after winning 7-0 (3-0, 2-0, 2-0) at home. Colorado leads the series by 2-0 games.

The Avalanche dominated the first period, with goals from Valeri Nichushkin, Josh Manson and Andre Burakovsky. Colorado Avalanche were still far from satisfied.

The Avalanche were also sharp in the second period, taking a 5-0 lead after goals from Valeri Nichushkin and Darren Helm. And that was just the beginning.

The Avalanche continued to be dominant in the third period and won 7-0 in the end. The goals in the final period were scored by Cale Makar and Cale Makar.

Colorado improves to 2–0–0, while Tampa Bay drops to 0–0–0.

The teams play again for Game 3 on Monday, June 20 at 8 p.m.
