Ryerson University recruit defenseman Evan Brand from Mississauga Steelheads

According to the team's Twitter account, Evan Brand, 21, of the Mississauga Steelheads, will now play for the Ryerson University.

Brand weighs 205 lbs and is 6'7".

He scored four goals and 10 points in 75 games for the Mississauga Steelheads last season.

Ryerson University has already signed Liam Ross, Ian Martin, and Kosta Manikis, among others, and now have seven players under contract for this season.
