Niagara IceDogs recruit forward Andrew Vermeulen from Niagara North Stars U16 AAA

Andrew Vermeulen, 15, of the Niagara North Stars U16 AAA, is changing teams. He will now play for the Niagara IceDogs, according to the team's homepage.

Vermeulen is 6'1" and weighs 179 lbs.

He scored 17 goals and 37 points in 32 games for the Niagara North Stars U16 AAA last season.

Niagara IceDogs has already signed Ryan Vannetten, and now have five players under contract for this season.
