Former University of Alaska-Fairbanks player finds new home: will play in Finland

Roberts Kalkis, 23, of the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, is changing teams. He will now play for the IPK, according to the team's homepage.

Kalkis weighs 207 lbs and is 6'2".

He scored three goals and nine points in 33 games for the University of Alaska-Fairbanks last season.

Roberts Kalkis is the 20th player to be rostered for IPK before this season. The IPK have added Henri Kivioja, Kalle Matikainen, and Jaakko Lantta, among others in the past month.
