Grand Rapids Griffins claim John Lethemon off waivers

John Lethemon, 25, of the Ontario Reign, will now play for the Grand Rapids Griffins, according to the team's homepage.

Lethemon is 6'3" and weighs 196 lbs.

Last season in ECHL and AHL, the goaltender had a save percentage of .912 over 40 games with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits and the Ontario Reign.

John Lethemon will once again be playing alongside Taro Hirose. During the 2018-19 season, they both played for the Michigan State University.

John Lethemon is the 9th player to be rostered for Grand Rapids Griffins before this season.
