Marco Kasper was born on April 8, 2004 in Innsbruck (Tyrol) and initially trained with Klagenfurter AC. At the age of 16, the left-shot forward joined Rögle BK and played the last two years in Sweden, in the J20 Nationell in his draft-minus-one and the SHL in his draft year. A lot of things have gone well for Kasper in his draft year. First he won the Champions Hockey League with Rögle, then he managed to make his way into the Austrian roster for the World Hockey Championship. Now the 18-year-old could become only the fourth Austrian player to hear their name called in the first round of the draft,
